There isnt a single day that goes by that I don't think of Rob. There are so many things to say and yet I don't know where to start. Rob and I were friends till the end, and he was one of the people I admired most in my life. We kept in touch throughout the years- even considering the fact that I lived 2 hours away from home. What I'll miss the most about him is his ability to make me laugh- no matter what mood I was in. Like the time I needed to get out of my house and we grabbed lunch at the saloon. I wanted to sit in one of the booths, but when we sat down I realized that Rob didn't fit inside the booths. His knees hit the table and he could barely breath in between the tight space...but he sat there anyway because I wanted to. I always felt so comfortable just calling him to vent about my day because I knew that in a few minutes, I would be laughing uncontrollably. When I heard of his passing, I was torn apart. The more I think about it though, I realize that Rob really did live his life to the fullest, as he once told me he wasn't going to let a day go by without making the most of it. I'm proud to be able to say that one of my closest friends was the most gentle, fun-loving, and all around amazing person in my eyes. He is someone who will always be with me in all of my memories, thoughts, prayers.... and in my heart. Close

We miss Mr. Rothschild so so so so so much. He always brought smiles to people faces and was the best subsitute teacher. He always cheered people up with his easy going attitude. We miss lots and he will always remain in our hearts.

While I haven’t seen you in two years, which I now deeply regret, I’ve always considered you a great human being; a truly genuine person, with a great heart and personality are just a few words that describe you, but then again it is virtually impossible to list your great qualities without running out of space. I heard you visited Nova’ for home coming but I didn’t know at the time and didn’t see you since you graduated. But a learned you had been living up your dream by enriching the lives of the kids through sports. Rob, I want to thank you for being a great friend when I was a freshman and being a mentor by showing me around the spots, and even giving me rides back to campus. Now that you rest in Heaven, you will serve to all of us as a constant aspiration of striving to achieve your dreams and being truly happy. God bless you

   Not only were you a subsitute teacher, an excellent athlete, and everyone's "cutie", you were a friend to everyone. Now as you are looking over us you are our guardian angel. Now you leave me with a huge hole in my heart that can never be filled by another person. No one can be equally as nice, respectful, great at everything, and a good friend just like you. To keep me happy I think that you were so good up here, that you were needed more down there. The first time i met u was in the fitness center where i saw him bench press 200 pounds. Ever sice then hes always been my favorite teacher and we would never miss a laugh. When i heard about the news i was hert broken and my life froze. I will always remember when he played badmitton agains me and Ben and we had so much fun. I remember when he played bingo with us and gave whoever won a dollar. This made me think that any thing could happen on anyday so u have to enjoy every second of it.     Ever since I first met Mr. Rothschild in technology class, I somehow felt that he could do anything. Coach, teacher... he was a great person and I feel as if it was a gift for him to come and teach us. Everyone, not only me, was touched by his kindness, and if only he could still be with us. I remember so many great things about him, whether it was him allowing us to play games (he was the ONLY teacher who would) or just teaching us.     Not only were you an amazing coach and teacher, you were an amazing friend and role model too.  From the baseball field to the football field and just every things, you always gave knew what to say.   On the bus ride to the games you always told us the best stories because you knew how to relate to us.  You were an all around great guy.  It was always great to see you around in school.
