When I joined TZ wrestling in highschool, I expected it to be easy, but it wasn't. Coach Rothschild, ran with us, encouraged us, exercised with us, and taught us. He was a great man that earned alot of respect from many people, I did not know him as long as I would of liked, but, in the short time that I knew him he impacted me greatly and it is unimaginable to me how great of a man he was. My only regret is leaving wrestling and not getting to see him more, he will be missed and never forgotten.

       I  dont know where to start. From the first day i saw you in school  i thought you would be just another one of those subs who no one pays attention to and no one really cares about. But you Coach you certaintly are not. You are the guy all the kids were askin for to be there sub. I got to know you more and more. Then came the day when you became my baseball coach it was so great and i learned so much from you. It shows how you were a good teacher on and off the field. Lastly you taught me morals what it is to be a good person. Coach i wish you could have been with us at BBMS longer cause we really miss ypu and wish you were here with us but we really hope you are in a better place right now. Coach Rothschild showed me what it meant to be an amazing person. He did this in the most effective way possible, by example. I not only looked up to him, but what he achieved as well.  Throughout the wrestling seasons I spent with him, he always would talk about the direct corrilation between hard work and success. Of course I had heard it before, but it meant something more coming from him. I always admired his accomplishments, weather it be that he was an incredible athlete, or just the fact that he was a role model. I feel so fortunate to have been taught by him. From the day I met him it was apparent as to why he was a teacher. Because not only did he do it in the classroom, but in my life as well. He taught me what it meant to earn success and motivated me to achieve it, through his own accomplishments. When he wasn't coaching me or helping me become a better athlete, he was someone I could always count on for a laugh. At times when I didn't even want to go near a wrestling mat, he was the one who could get me in a better mood, and motivate me to do as he did. There is no question in my mind that he has made me a better athlete and a better person. You will never be forgotten coach. Thank you for everything.

Coach Rothschild at first seemed to be one of the most mature people ive never met. He carried himself in a manor that reflected who he was; a great guy. Coach Rothschild was a role model to me and the rest of the wrestling team, always ready to push us to the next level. Coach deserved to live the rest of what was a bright future. 

Thank you coach, for starting me off on the right foot for wrestling, and you and your teachings will stay with me my entire life.

Rob Rothschild: Man of Steel  / Andy Choi (wrestler)
Coach Rothschild never seemed to never lose hope in us wrestlers. We would have our good practices and we would have our miserable ones, but despite the outcome, Robert Rothschild focused on our potential and not our current ability. He was always enthusiastic and willing to do whatever it took to improve somebody mentally and physically. Coach, you will always be in my mind, influencing me and pushing me harder in whatever I do. Especially wrestling.

Coach Rothschild was one of the few people in this world that was almost perfect. I searched to find his flaw and i still have no idea what i was. He was kind and always willing to do anything for you if you asked him to. He would even help me with my homework even though him and i both knew nothing about physics at all. He taught me how to be a respectable man and how to never give up even when the task seemed absolutely impossible to achieve. He was an amazing coach, teacher and friend and he will be greatly missed.

We are so sorry for your loss.  Mr. Rothschild was a great man, and a great teacher.  He was always the funnest substatute that everyone would look forward to having as a teacher.  He would have made the worlds greatest teacher!!! We will always remember him, and he'll always be in our hearts.
